@Evie: Thanks for the comment Evie. I exposed it the way I did as it was a Dusk shot (taken sometime after sunset) and I felt by over exposing it and therefor compensating for the low light I would be turning the image into a normal midday photo and therefor losing its appeal as a Dusk shot.
Lovely rural scene - I like the silhouetting of the trees, perhaps the only way to compensate if you did increase the lighting, would be to when youdo the pp increase the pink tones in the sky..
